Head Event Stylist/Director
Lorena is a certified wedding planner and event stylist whose love for planning events and most beautifully and importantly - your wedding day, started at an early age. She started putting together and helping in the organizational process of many of her friend´s birthday parties. Her friends, friend´s parents and her own family were very impressed by her attention to detail, visual eye and organizational skills to bring everything together flawlessly.
She carried that through her early adult life by planning events for different occasions as well as coordinating and planning weddings for her friends that began tying the knot.
While she studied at Florida International University obtaining a degree in Communications, she also worked at the local FOX affiliate and then at the CBS affiliate, both in the news departments. Her role at CBS was as assignment editor, bringing news stories together and coordinating the information from officers to reporters and from reporters to producers who then executed a well-delivered news program. Her zest for this excitement and need to follow-through from start to finish led her to really feel that she needed to branch off and go back to her original love - planning events.
With much inspiration, time and amazing love from her hubby - she began her own event firm which ties in perfectly to their family owned event décor business, Contempo Linen & Event Rentals where she manages key vendor relationships and designs custom, fashion-inspired table linens for their upscale clientele.
Head Event Stylist/Director
Dani is a Miami native, born and raised, and has always been driven by the arts and design. Even when he was in school, he would involve himself with the arts, winning several prestigious awards and also being show chased at the local Dade County Youth Fair. In high school, his art teacher, whom Dani remembers fondly and much appreciates, always knew what he was ultimately cut-out for and pushed him to work with his creative genius and to refine his artistic side. As a young adult, he was blessed with the opportunity to work for the largest, world-renown and high-end lighting company - Fine Art Lamps located in Miami Lakes, Florida. He worked with them for seven years, quickly climbing his way to the top by leading his department with budget-savvy ways, eye for design and space management. At the age of 23, he was Senior Visual Merchandiser for Fine Art Lamps, traveling to far-off, exotic locations around the world and the US, leading the installations of their visual displays, as well as helping create new ones that would be used as templates for worldwide use. At the age of 25, he crossed over to the exciting world of event styling and production, when he helped head the production of the first ever fashion show to hit the lighting and furniture world. From that moment, in a showroom in High Point, North Carolina, amidst the bright lights and pounding music, Dani knew that is where he needed to be and where his heart lied… For the last 6 years, Dani has been creating, styling and producing events - from weddings to fashion shows – the passion evolves in his work.
Logistics Manager/ Event Coordinator
Amanda joins the Lugo|Gilbert family with over 7 years of experience in both seasoned fashion and expedition planning.
She has worked in some of South Florida's top tier hotels on the beach; exceptionally providing every client with their own VIP experience. With Amanda's attention to detail, innovative ideas and dynamic personality she assists our clients with making their dream event a reality.
Amanda is thrilled to bring her specialized expertise to the incredible Lugo|Gilbert team.
Senior Event Coordinator
Maggie has been in the event planning business for 6 years now. She has learned to create events that are tailored to fit your needs, wants, and desires. Maggie's attention to detail, creativity, and follow-up are her hallmark.
Maggie brings organizational skills and a "get it done" attitude to each event we plan. She will definitely keep everyone on track and adhering to the "holy" timeline!
Her flair for visual concept design has been an asset to Lugo|Gilbert Event Styling + Production.
Senior Event Stylist
Ronald is a Miami native with a Fashion + Design Major. He attended Coral Gables Senior HIgh School and graduated in 1993. His keen eye for design and beauty make him a key ingredient to the Lugo|Gilbert team when it comes to designing events and blending pieces together.
After nearly 20 years in the wireless industry working for some of the largest companies in the world, Max embarks on a new venture.
Combined with years of military service, his commitment to our team is relentless. With a background in high level marketing, production and operations, Max adds organizational leadership and diversity to our team.
His passion to expect nothing but the the highest level of performance and quality drives our team to excellence.
